justteachers Ltd is proud to officially announce their brand partnership with Project Yorkshire and Bafta award-winning actor!

Project Yorkshire

What is Project Yorkshire?

Planning the launch of Project Yorkshire has taken almost 2 years for award-winning filmmakers Scott Elliott and Sid Sadowskyj, with the holistic concept of promoting all that is great about Yorkshire and why it is the best place for people to visit, live and invest.

Naturally, as a business with Yorkshire heritage and employing over 400 internal and external staff across Yorkshire, justteachers were quick to get on board with the project to promote Yorkshire’s value proposition worldwide and provide a timely reminder to welcome back students, tourists and investors.

Promoting Yorkshire as an industrial powerhouse and world-class destination to live, work, play, invest and study.

The official trailer for A Playground Like No Other has been unveiled- the highly anticipated film at the heart of Project Yorkshire, which is narrated by Bafta winning actor, Sean Bean. There are more exciting announcements to come imminently, with the official screening released on Yorkshire Day, 1st August.

Sid Sadowskyj said: ‘Together Scott and I came up with the idea of creating a short film that could act as a “calling card” for local councils, businesses, and anyone else in the region to use to promote all that is great about Yorkshire and why we believe it is the best place for people to visit, live and invest.

We’ve been through some of the most horrific events in recent memory, with jobs lost, months without seeing the closest people in our lives and have carried the global sense of mourning for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. That’s why, now more than ever, we need to unite and collaborate together to support safe and sustainable industry.’

Caroline Cafferty, justteachers MD, commented:

“I firmly believe that one of our USP’s as a business is that we remain humble and recognise our beginnings from an old Yorkshire Mill to reflect upon where we are today. Over the years we have made a huge impact across Yorkshire (and nationwide) schools, creating long-lasting, honest and open relationships with our clients and providing them with first-class education staff. Quality education is as important as ever and it is our responsibility to ensure we have the resources required to provide our learners with the education they deserve.

We are delighted to back Project Yorkshire and we hope it highlights key attractions and the many reasons why people relocate to the region to both live and work.”

Justteachers are one of the many businesses, institutions and local authorities based across Yorkshire who have backed the film including University of Hull, Leeds Trinity University, and Yorkshire Life. For more information on the project, visit:
