justteachers celebrate double award win after being recognised for the second year running as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ in 2019 and also receives ‘Excellence in Wellbeing’ award.

The fact that we care greatly about the wellness of our workforce is just one of the reasons why justteachers employees choose to go to work every day. There are many other reasons, according to UK’s Best Workplaces™ ranking just published by Great Place to Work®, why justteachers has been recognised for the second year running, as well as being awarded a dedicated ‘Excellence in Wellbeing’ award for 2019.

This is the second year running that justteachers has been recognised by its employees as an organisation that promotes a healthy workplace culture through trust, pride and camaraderie.

Employees were encouraged to take part in a recent Great Place to Work® survey, which generated a huge amount of favourable responses, including justteachers special and unique benefits programme, the promotion of a healthy working environment and trusted senior leaders within the organisation.

Our local reputation helps us to stand out as an employer as does the fact that we are committed to the mental health and well-being of all staff and work hard to build resilience and strength across our employees. We give all of our employees access to a confidential health service which provides access to confidential 24/7 telephone support with qualified counsellors, financial, legal and health support, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, webinars and additional health and wellbeing support.

Operations Director Caroline Cafferty commented:

“Education recruitment businesses, such as justteachers, play a vital role in lessening the impact of teacher shortages through their valuable support and assistance to both schools and teachers throughout the UK.

justteachers’ continued expansion reflects the high level of service it delivers to its members, its commitment to safeguarding and the support it can offer its candidates and clients to ensure they can focus on delivering outstanding education. None of this however would be possible without our internal staff.

We consistently recognise and reward the contribution of all our staff, not just through a generous and transparent remuneration package but with continual team focused incentives. We encourage a relaxed and fun working environment with emphasis on well-being, ability to leave early and flexibility to have extended lunch breaks for such things as fitness activity.  We want our culture to reflect the fact we are the “JT family” where every person matters.”
