Food Technology Teacher – Peterborough

Justteachers are looking to recruit an DT Teacher to work within one of our partner Secondary schools, located in Peterborough, ASAP. They are looking for an experienced Food Technology specialist who can deliver up to KS4, is confident with their behavior management and is willing to go the extra mile to support pupils in being successful.

The role is full-time and is expected to last until Easter 2025, with the potential of being extended. This is a supply role so the right candidate will be flexible and adaptable.

To be considered for the role and the rates advertised, you must meet the minimum experience, training or qualifications stated. To be considered for a higher rate, in addition to meeting the minimum criteria, you must be able to demonstrate additional experience, training, and if applicable, qualifications.

Justteachers are looking for:

• Experience teaching DT Teacher to KS3 and or KS4.
• An updated DBS Certificate or willing for one to be completed
• A passionate individual who will inspire and motivate their learners using a range of strategies.
• Be able to supply at least 2 education/school based references
• Candidate must hold a teaching qualification: qualified teacher status (QTS) or qualified teacher learning and skills (QTLS) or newly qualified teacher status (ECT)
