Cover Supervisor Peterborough

Justteachers teaching agency is seeking a cover supervisor to cover classes during the short term absence of teacher and manage classroom behaviour for a partner school near Peterborough.
You will need to have strong communication and have the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
This is a flexible job and is required to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to students, helping them understand and complete their work
- Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
- Support the administration of cover arrangements, including updating records and reporting on student progress
- Assist with other duties as required, such as exam invigilation and supporting extracurricular activities
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
Requirements:
- Flexible, organized, and able to work under pressure
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential
- A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in a supervisory or teaching assistant role
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and educational software
- An interest in pursuing a career in education
