Justteachers Recruitment Agency is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEMH Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Coventry. This is a full-time position, requiring planning and marking responsibilities, in a school that specializes in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH.
  • Provide a nurturing and structured environment to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor students’ progress effectively.
  • Implement strategies to manage challenging behavior in line with school policies.
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support for students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes resilience and self-confidence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with students with SEMH needs or relevant behavioral management training.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Excellent classroom and behavior management skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable students.
