Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Religious Education.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support to help students reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental and whole-school meetings to contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum and teaching practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and attainment in line with school policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Humanities or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and current educational practices.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of educational advancements.
