£161 - £223 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

We are looking to recruit an experienced Performing Arts Teacher for a secondary school near Rotherham. The position is a supply contract starting from January 2025 to July 2025. The role is offered on a part time basis; three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons in performing arts, including Dance, Drama, and Music, in line with the GCSE curriculum and secondary school educational standards.
  • Assess and track student progress through assignments, practical performances, and exams, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
  • Organise and coordinate extracurricular activities such as school performances, drama productions, or music recitals, ensuring students have opportunities to showcase their talents.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A recognised teaching qualification in Performing Arts, Drama, Music, or a related field, with experience in teaching secondary school students.
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE Performing Arts curriculum and the ability to design engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check to ensure suitability to work with children and young people.
  • Two Educational references, preferably from previous teaching or performing arts-related positions, to support your application.
  • You must have the legal requirements to work in the UK.
