Justteachers Recruitment Agency is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a KS3 SEN class based in Rugby. This full-time position is set to start in January 2025 and provides an exciting opportunity to support young learners with special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons for students with SEN in a KS3 setting.
Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions to students as needed.
Help students with a range of SEN, ensuring they are fully engaged and supported in their learning.
Adapt learning materials and resources to meet individual student needs.
Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment that promotes the social and emotional development of students.
Assist with the monitoring and tracking of student progress and provide feedback where necessary.
Support students with daily activities and help manage their behaviour in a constructive way.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN), preferably in a secondary school setting.
Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve their potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
Patient, compassionate, and flexible approach to supporting students.
Ability to adapt and modify learning activities to suit the needs of individual students.
A positive attitude and commitment to making a difference in the lives of students with SEN.
