justteachers Ltd awarded UK’s Best Workplaces™ recognition for 5 years in a row!

Great place to Work Best Workplaces

Justteachers Ltd has been recognised as one of the 290 UK’s Best Workplaces™ (2022) today by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture. We were awarded position 61st/ 105 in the Medium-sized organisation category, which had over 50 more entrants this year than last.

This is the 5th year running that justteachers Ltd has been awarded this accolade, even during the lengthy covid crisis, which is a testament to our ongoing commitment to employee wellbeing.

A great workplace is more than lavish perks, fancy parties and amazing benefits. While those elements are present in many Best Workplace™ organisations, at its core a great workplace is about the level of trust that employees experience in their leaders, the level of pride they have in their jobs; and the extent to which they experience camaraderie with their colleagues.

To determine the 2022 UK’s Best Workplaces™ list, Great Place to Work® performed rigorous evaluations of hundreds of employee survey responses alongside Culture Audit™ submissions from leaders at each company. They then used these data insights to benchmark the effectiveness of companies’ employee value propositions against the culture their employees actually experience.

Those businesses who achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best Workplaces™ status.

The following statements selected from our employee surveys demonstrate why justteachers is such an outstanding place to work:

  • People care about each other
  • There is a real sense of camaraderie
  • You can count on people
  • Management is honest and ethical in its business practice
  • Management show appreciation for good work and extra effort

Message from justteachers Managing Director, Caroline Cafferty.

Caroline Cafferty Managing Director

“I am once again incredibly proud of the justteachers family in receiving this universally recognised achievement, now for the 5th year running. Gaining the Great Place to Work® accolade requires the ability of our business to be adaptable and flexible. There’s real gold in receiving well-intended criticism from our loyal employees, enabling us to continually improve our workplace by providing them with an anonymous voice in a safe environment. We not only hear but value what our employees have to say and are grateful that time has been taken to help us continually make improvements to our workplace culture.”

Even in times of agonising uncertainty, at Best Workplaces™ the shared mantra of ‘purpose over profit’ has stood firm,” said Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK. “We’re incredibly proud to recognise the 290 companies on our list for their outstanding workplace cultures, and unwavering commitment to supporting employees so they can deliver the best strategic solutions to ever-changing business opportunities and challenges.”
