The school is of average size with pupils from a predominantly social and economic disadvantaged area. Most pupils are of White / British heritage with an increasing amount of multi / ethnic backgrounds reflecting changes in the locality. The number of pupils who speak English as an additional language is above the national average, and pupils with learning difficulties / disabilities are also above average.

The position is on a temporary basis and will be to start from September.

Candidates need to have experience of teaching at KS2 level.

The position is subject to a clear, enhanced CRB check.
