We currently have a vacancy for an English teacher to work on a full time basis, 5 days per week at an excellent local Senior School.

Applicants must have QTS and experience teaching English to GCSE level.

This is a voluntary aided 11 to 19 school of average size. There is a small sixth form run in partnership with the neighbouring secondary school. The school gained specialist status in business and enterprise in 2006. The proportion of students eligible for free school meals is below average. The proportion of minority ethnic students is well below average. The proportion of students with learning difficulties and / or disabilities is a little below average and the proportion with statements of specials educational need is a little above average. The school has gained the Healthy schools award and the Quality Standard for Careers Education and Guidance.
