Bournemouth Team
Business Manager Kris was born in Sweden and grew up in Portsmouth. He has worked in the Education Recruitment Sector in London for 12 years and has re-located to Bournemouth to facilitate the opening of the new branch for justteachers. Kris has worked in the recruitment industry for over 15 years, and understands the huge impact and importance of Every Act Matters when dealing with children and supplying quality teaching and support staff. Kris’s spare time is spent developing his multi lingual skills and planning his next trip discovering foreign countries, property development, gadgets, music, gardening and following current affairs. He owns a small farm with chickens and his work colleagues and friends regularly enjoy the eggs laid at “Chickenham Palace”.
Sharion has relocated from Westminster, London to join the Bournemouth Branch of justteachers. She has 18 years recruitment experience, 10 years working in the Education sector. Sharion enjoys matching teachers to schools and hearing that they are still there years later.When Sharion isn’t working she spends time with her two teenage boys and her husband Steve. Sharion has some unusual talents which include Unicycling, Juggling and extreme boarding all of which she has done to raise money for charity. Sharion is very competitive and thrives on challenges. .
Sales Support Officer Angela plays an important role in the general administration of the Bournemouth Branch. Angela comes from a Sales/Marketing background, having previously worked with her husband in his construction business for many years. Currently renovating their farmhouse, Angela spends her spare time training and riding her three horses with her daughter Oriana. She also has dogs, cats and guinea pigs. Angela is a talented artist working mostly in oils and enjoys learning Spanish for fun.
Coventry and Midlands Team
Business Manager Caroline has worked for justteachers from day one. Being a mum and recruitment professional she understands the huge impact and importance of Every Act Matters when dealing with children and supplying quality teaching staff ; the kind which justteachers supply into her own children’s school in Coventry.
Gemma has worked in the recruitment sector for 7 years and looks after our primary school clients. She has always lived in Coventry and has an excellent understanding of the surrounding area and has focussed her career developing relationships with teachers in this area. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping and socialising with friends.
Amanda joined justteachers in September 2007, with a wide array of sales and training experience, from hair and beauty to selling cars! Being a ‘people person’, she looks forward to getting to know the Special Needs Schools and Teaching Assistants which she looks after in the Coventry area to ensure she gets the right teacher into the right class by building relations with both clients and candidates.
As a mother of two children currently in the education system, Sarah feels strongly about supporting schools with their supply needs, ensuring that only the highest quality, subject specific teachers are provided to schools. Safeguarding children is of the utmost importance to Sarah as a mother and underpins justteachers comprehensive vetting processes. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling and meeting up with family and friends.
London team
Originally from Cornwall and a Cornish girl at heart, London branch Manager Nikki enjoys shopping, keeping fit, comedy clubs and socialising. Prior to joining justteachers in London, she worked as a Recruitment Manager for a supply teaching agency covering schools across Devon and Cornwall. Previous to this, Nikki gained over 3 years’ management experience working for a rental car business.
Senior Primary Recruitment Consiltant, Richard came to justteachers from a sales background and looks after the Boroughs of Hackney and Harringey.When not working, Richard likes to immerse his life and hair in Indie style music and can be found in most Camden bars listening to new bands.
Coming originally from a Design Engineering background, Mark started working with justteachers in March 2009, and looks after schools in the Boroughs of Wandsworth, Merton and Camden. In his spare time, Mark is a frequent visitor to Camden due to his passion for music. He is also an avid follower of West Ham United.
Manchester team
Manchester Branch Manager Jane has worked in recruitment for over 20 years and still loves the buzz of finding the right job for the right candidate. When not working, Jane loves to spend time with her two gorgeous children and over the past 3 years has become proficient in all things to do with play doh and Peppa Pig! She loves walking and the outdoors, but can also be found on stage as she is very involved in the local amateur dramatic scene and loves helping out back stage as well as performing. Jane has played many different parts but enjoys the more dramatic roles.
Originally from Swindon, Jo moved to Manchester to attend university, and has never look back. This is her first recruitment role and she is very excited about the prospect of finding teaching staff their ideal roles. She is a former teacher herself and has also worked for children’s services so has gained a wealth of experience in helping her to recruit the right candidate into the right school in addition to understanding the pressure that teachers and support staff face in the classroom.
In her spare time, Jo enjoys running and aims to complete the London Marathon in 2013. Her busy schedule means that she runs the 7 miles home each night and she spends her evenings and weekends meeting up with friends and gossiping over a bottle of wine.
International Team
Based in Brisbane Prue has spent the majority of her life in sunny Queensland. She is a specialist teacher in Performing Arts and has taught Textiles & Clothing Production, clocking up 16 years in the education sector.
Paul joined justteachers in December 2007 as International Manager, bringing with him a wealth of International recruitment experience. Working within the recruitment industry for over a decade, Paul is passionate about making sure that overseas teachers enjoy the best the UK has to offer and are fully informed of the hundreds of teaching opportunities available to them.
Having worked overseas himself Paul and the team are on hand to answer any questions and to provide as much information as possible for overseas teachers seeking teaching positions in the UK. The International team is on hand to ensure that the transition for overseas teachers to the UK is as stress free as possible Paul has worked with candidates from over 20 countries and being an avid traveller himself enjoys learning about new cultures and practices, especially the local culinary delights. Based in Manchester Paul likes to wind down by cooking for friends, eating out, trips to the theatre and keeping an eye on the turbulent fortunes of his local football team Oldham Athletic.
Emma joined justteachers in February 2009 and has over 5 years of recruitment experience. Working as part of the International Division, Emma supports overseas qualified teachers from a number of countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, South Africa and Ireland with their relocation to the UK. As the first point of contact for many overseas candidates, Emma provides a warm, friendly, informative service and is often commended for going the extra mile in the level of service and support which she offers. In her spare time she enjoys socialising with her friends and boyfriend and shopping.
Warrington Team
As the new Warrington branch Manager, Jamie is really looking forward to building relationships with all the current clients and teachers and wants the Warrington team to be top of the supply agency premier league by bringing on new schools and building long lasting relationships.
Helen joined justteachers in Warrington in September 2007 from a customer service management background in the car magazine industry.
Beth is really excited about Christmas this year and is looking forward to spending time with her three year old daughter Summer and visiting Santa at various Grottos across the North West. She has really enjoyed working on the SEN desk, building relationships with Clients and placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in Schools. Beth is looking forward to developing new business opportunities throughout the North West and adding onto our fantastic bank of staff at justteachers.
After a busy day filling Primary School vacancies across the North West, Nicola like nothing better than to crack open a bottle of wine and unwind with friends or go for a work out at the local gym. With lots of enthusiasm and energy she is committed to providing an excellent service to Primary schools by ensuring she provides the best Primary teachers for every job.
Andrea comes from a recruitment background, and works on the Secondary Desk at the Warrington Branch.
Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Team
Keeping fit and healthy eating is the recipe of the day for Manager Alexis who in her spare time enjoys running around after her young son Isaac.
Jill has worked in the sales and recruitment industry since leaving school in a variety of roles, from selling refined minerals to foundries to recruiting doctors from India and Poland. At justteachers she enjoys building relations with clients, candidates and colleagues and seeing the results from her hard work pay off. Originally from the Wirral, Jill now lives in Lancashire. In her spare time she enjoys being in the outdoors and likes both running and bike riding.
As a mother of two children, Manager Helen understands the importance of having the best teachers in schools, the kind she would want teaching her own children.
When not supporting her teachers, Amanda spends most of her spare time supporting her football-ace son and his theatrical younger brother. Married to Ian, she lives in Skipton and is a member of a local school PTA.
Education Consultant Darach (or D for short) is responsible for placing teachers on supply or long term assignments in East Lancashire schools. He joined justteachers from a hospitality background working with-in a prestigious chain of 5-star hotels as a Sales Executive. Both of D’s parents are teachers and he fully understands the challenges of the modern classroom. In his spare time he enjoys socialising, dining out and travelling abroad.
Sales Support worker Lindy joined justteachers from a Human Resources background but has also experience of working in the IT sector and the Social Care Recruitment industry. When not supporting the Education Recruitment Consultants at justteachers, Lindy likes to spend her spare time socialising with friends and playing golf and rounds for a local team.
As a mother of two small children, Louise understands the importance of having the right teacher in the right school. She joined justteachers after previously working in sales-focussed roles in the holiday cottage industry and the jewellery retail sector. She enjoys being part of the continuing success of justteachers and the support and encouragement she receives from colleagues, which has enabled her to quickly settle in to becoming a member of the Lincolnshire team. When I am not running after my two children, I enjoy socialising with friends.
Adam joined justteachers in 2010 as a Sales Support Officer and has now progressed to the role of Education Recruitment Consultant looking after schools in Lincolnshire. With a background in Retail, Adam has previously worked as part of a leadership team and also for a printing company. In his spare time he enjoys a good film, socialising with his friends and girlfriend and travelling abroad.
Education Recruitment Consultant Michelle is responsible for placing teachers on supply or long term assignements in Yorkshire schools. She joined justteachers from a financial background and enjoys the company ethos that everyone matters. In her spare time she enjoys socialising, dining out and travelling abroad.
Sophie is a Recruitment Consultant who has been with justteachers for almost a year, during which time she has been responsible for working alongside Primary and Secondary schools in the West Yorkshire area. In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends and fine dining.
